Your Story

God has used Atlantic Shores Baptist Church to make an impact on hundreds of lives over the past thirty years. God’s word tells us to rejoice with those who rejoice, and we want to celebrate what God has done for and through you. Sharing your story releases faith to those around you. “That’s what I have found here at Shores: it’s the people here, it’s the friendliness, it’s the sharing; and my life has been greatly impacted by not only the teaching here and the pastors, but by the relationships that I have made here at Shores. That’s been the big factor for me.”

- Eddie Butler

“Just seeing people in my group get out of their shell—letting us get to know one another was really cool, because I made some friends that I didn’t know really loved God that much, and they were totally, completely on fire for God and that made me want to see that change even more in our youth group.”

- Blake Phillips

“When asked what Atlantic Shores has meant to me over the past years, I look at the faithfulness of a Sunday school teacher who week after week, for the past twenty-some years, has taught us about God’s love and stepped on our toes when needed.  The faithfulness of our Sunday school class members who over the years have supported so many with prayers, food, money, and a hug or shoulder when needed.”

  1. After months of having pain in one leg, and increasing pain / weakness during the last month, two courses of steroids, pain medications & anti-inflamatories; things were progressively getting worse. This past weekend, pain radiated across his back and into Rich’s second leg. He was having to steady himself when he would stand and was having a difficult time walking. Drs sent him for xrays and ordered an MRI, looking for confirmation of bulging or ruptured discs. Then, he hit an all time low. Between pain and medications, he became violently ill. Wednesday night, while he was home in bed in pain, I was in prayer service at Atlantic Shores Baptist Church and as a church family, we lifted him up in prayer. When I got home, Rich was up and walking. Almost normal. He continues to move freely today. GOD HEALED!!!!
The very next day I received a text from a friend who didnt know anything about Rich’s health struggles. It simply said, “ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE.” We couldn’t say it any better.
    THANK YOU, GOD.
